Thank you for your interest in being a Preferred Knives Marketplace Vendor. The entire process of becoming a verified vendor should take less than an hour of your time. Please read the “How to Get Verified” document for everything you’ll need to know to create your new vendor account.
If a vendor leaves the platform the entire balance of his or her account will be transferred to the bank account on file three days after the last order is marked as complete.
Preferred Knives currently offers flat rate shipping to anywhere in the Philippines for only ₱99. Prepaid orders over ₱5000 qualify for free shipping.
C.O.D. orders have a limit of ₱3000. and the flat rate for C.O.D. shipping to anywhere in the Philippines is currently ₱149.
We currently recommend using a well known shipping company such as LBC Express, J&T Express or Lala Move. For same-day deliveries within Metro Manila, Pampanga, & Cebu Lalamove offers shipping fees as low as ₱28.
Sometimes you will make money on shipping and sometimes you may lose a little. Please take this into consideration when deciding how much to charge for you items.

All shipping fees, including C.O.D. fees collected, are paid to the vendors. Preferred Knives currently charges P99 for shipping to anywhere in the Philippines, and P149 for C.O.D. orders (there is a limit of P3000 for C.O.D. orders). Sometimes the vendors will make a profit on this, and sometimes they may lose some money on shipping. Feel free to adjust the sales price of your items accordingly so that you don’t lose money.
Payments will be deposited into the vendors bank account directly. Payments can be requested by vendors once the minimum threshold for payments is reached, and the orders are marked by admin as being complete (paid and delivered). The minimum account balance that must be maintained is P2000 (to cover any customer disputes, etc.). So your first sale may go towards establishing the minimum threshold. Your maximum withdrawal is based on your balance minus P2000. Vendors must wait a minimum of 3 days after an order is marked as complete to request a withdrawal of funds. This goes for C.O.D. payments as well.
Orders will be marked as complete 3 business days after it has been paid for and delivered. At that point the vendor may request to be paid for the product.
The minimum withdrawal amount from your account is P1000.
The minimum account threshold is P2000. That means after your initial sales you must maintain a balance of at least P2000 in your account at all times to keep your account in good standing. The rest of your account balance may be requested at any time as long as your sales are marked as complete.
The commission to sell on Preferred Knives is currently 10% of the sale price of your items. This covers the cost of building and running the platform/website, quality hosting with security updates, Search Engine Optimization for good rankings, support, and other necessary expenses. Please price your products according so that you can be competitive and also make a profit.
You should have live stock of everything for sale, and you should mark your inventory amounts when you set up your items. Exceptions can be made if you have a reliable service drop shipping for you and you have no problems delivering on time.
Preferred Knives offers a money back guarantee that says items must be genuine, as described, and be delivered in good condition. Customers have 5 days to return problematic items in as received condition with the original box and packaging to qualify for a refund. Manufacturers warranties are not offered as most items are not made in the Philippines.
The reverse withdrawal feature that you will see in your vendor admin panel allows Preferred Knives to request the commission from C.O.D. orders when when you complete a C.O.D. order. It’s how Preferred Knives gets paid when a vendor receives payment for an order directly. A reverse withdrawal will be triggered when you have a commissions due to Preferred Knives from C.O.D. sales. There is a threshold of P500 or more that must be in your account before a reverse withdrawal will be requested. You will be notified of how much you owe in your vendor admin panel. You will have one week to make the commission payment to Preferred Knives when it is requested. It’s easy to make the payment. Click the pay now button. The balance due will be added to cart. Complete the checkout process and make a payment for the amount due to the Preferred Knives banking details provided. The payment will show in your dashboard, and the notice of funds due will be cleared. If payment is not made within one week your vendor account will have the add to cart button disabled. If the balance is not resolved in a timely manner your withdrawal menu will be disabled and your vendor status will be temporarily set to inactive until the balance is paid.
