The Para 3 Lightweight is an award-winning, full-flat blade that’s designed to redefine the category of ultralight cutting tools. It features a durable CPM-SPY27 stainless steel blade and a streamlined Compression Lock. Its reinforced, injection-molded handle and carry clip also provide a satin finish.
For decades, Spyderco has been a leader in the design and production of high-quality blade steels, which are typically used in a wide range of applications. After several years of working with some of the world’s leading steel companies, they decided that it was time for them to develop their own unique materials. They collaborated with Crucible Industries to create the CPM-SPY27. This particle stainless steel features a mix of various metals, such as vanadium, niobium and nitrogen.
The exceptional composition of this steel, which is enhanced by the particle metallurgy process and the cobalt’s effects, is only made for Spyderco by Crucible. It will be featured in select models and has a distinctive blue handle color.
This item is like new and has a CME (compression made easy) custom modification for easier use of the compression lock. It comes with a factory box.
