Richard Rogers is a designer who spends most of his time driving cattle. When it comes to carrying a pocket knife, he swears by the saying that lighter is better. This is why he created the Cuatro carry folder.
While he’s in the arid, open desert region of Magdalena, New Mexico, Richard often gets to daydream about his next creation. While driving cattle, he learned about the challenges of herding animals. These experiences inspired the Cuatro and the Maven, which are lightweight yet tough enough to endure the elements. The Cuatro features a bead blast finish and a modified drop point blade.
The Cuatro features a quick-opening and concealed flipper that allows it to work quickly. Its G10 handle and locking liner keep everything in place while providing a solid grip.
Rick Lala and Flavio Ikoma designed the IKBS system, which involves setting lubed ball bearings into the knife’s pivot. This ensures quick blade deployment and smooth operation. The Cuatro will do the job until the cows come home.
