One of the most popular of Kershaw’s products is the Scallion. Its 2.25″ blade is ideal for carrying in a pocket, and it’s made for easy cutting. Even though it’s small, the Scallion still has plenty of power.
The SpeedSafe feature allows you to open the blade with one hand. It deploys out of the handle after you pull back on the ambidex protrusion or flipper. The steel construction of the Scallion’s blade ensures its durability and edge retention. Its bead-blasted finish adds a little bit of extra life to the tool.
The handle of the Scallion is made from pure stainless steel, which means that it can feature a frame lock. When the handle is opened, a part of it moves into place, and it locks the blade open to prevent it from accidentally closing. This feature is incredibly strong.
The second lock that the Scallion uses is the Tip-Lock. This feature prevents the blade from accidentally opening while you’re transporting it. Its all-metal construction, security, and helpful opening make it a great little knife.
