The Manix 2 is a lightweight version of the G-10 handle that features the Ball bearing lock. This lock is designed to work with a free-floating ball bearing that’s inside a cage made of polymer. Its round shape allows it to self-adjust across a wide surface, ensuring consistent lock-up. The Ball bearing lock is made of self-contained materials, which means it doesn’t need to be supported by internal liners. It’s also very light and can be manufactured without any external components.
The EdgeTek FRCP handle is made of glass reinforced polymer and has a semi-opaque blue finish. It features a series of molded areas around its perimeter. Bi-directional texturing also covers both sides of its scale to provide a better grip in wet or unpredictable conditions.
The BD-1N is a Carpenter steel blade that’s made from high carbon and chromium. This is becoming more popular among knife enthusiasts due to its durability and corrosion resistance. It features a flat-ground base and an oversized round hole.
The BD-1N features a built-in tip-up wire pocket clip and an ambidextrous design for easy carry. It also has a screw-together handle for additional storage.
